Space Marine Commander

A Captain leads each of then ten Companies of a Space Marine Chapter. They are second in experience only to the Chapter Master and each is a warrior so deadly that he will rarely meet his match. Each Captain is an inspirational and determined leader, able to coordinate the Space Marines under his command whatever the opposition.

This box set contains one multi-part plastic Space Marine Commander, including: nine different weapon options, three variant heads and additional parts to further customise your model. Model supplied with a 25mm round base.

Space Marine Commanders are formidable warriors with high Leadership. With a good stat line and access to versatile wargear they can give a good account of themselves in combat. Where a Captain is better than a Chaplin or Librarian, is in his ability to lend his great leadership to every Marine on the table. This means they are unlikely to fail any pinning or Moral checks, keeping them fighting and advancing against overwhelming odds. Sometimes it's useful to take a Captain for this role alone and give him no additional equipment. This will keep his points cost low and curb the temptation to throw him into a fight - you'll want him to survive in order to make the most of his leadership.
